Our client, the multi-business company Variant-A, asked us to deliver a batch of the latest Kaierda welding machines for professional and domestic use from Hangzhou (China) to Moscow (Russia). Kaierda products are used in shipbuilding, nuclear, O&G and other high-tech industries with the increased requirements for the quality of welding. During the preparation process our foreign trade brokers found out that such a cargo would require certificates of conformity in the Russian Federation.
In order to obtain such a certificate, it is necessary to allocate a part of the cargo for conducting appropriate tests. After analyzing the potential costs, we decided to conduct an aviation delivery of the required samples for certification. Meanwhile the main part of the cargo was shipped in a container by rail from Hangzhou to Vorsino railway station (Russia) and covered a distance of about 9,800 km.
The samples of equipment delivered by air transport successfully passed certification. The customs clearance procedure began after the documents have been received. TRASKO also carries out warehouse storage and subsequent delivery of equipment throughout Russia in the interests of Variant-A.
